Sipadan Inn - Semporna - Malaysia

Semporna is a district as well as town located in Tawau Division, in the east coast of Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. While there is not much to see and do in Semporna itself, it is frequently used as a gateway for scuba diving trips to the nearby islands of Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai, Mataking and others. To reach here take a flight to Tawau from either Kuala Lumpur or Kota Kinabalu, then travel overland by taxi (Tawau airport to Semporna town). You can't spend the night at Sipadan island. In case you are not staying at Mabul or Kapalai due to booking/budget whatever, you'll have to stay at Semporna. You'll be able to find a number of hotels over there however, based on my stay over there in September 2016, I recommend Sipadan Inn, considering the cleanliness to price ratio which was good.
